Our Team

Our attorneys have a wealth of experience to meet the legal needs of our clients. We do not practice in the area of criminal law. Each of our attorneys is licensed to practice in all Ohio courts as well as in the appropriate federal courts. Additionally, all of our attorneys have served in many community offices in both elected and voluntary capacities. 

Kraig E. Noble

Kraig was born in Lima, Ohio, on April 12, 1949. After graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University with a BA, he obtained a JD from the University of Michigan. Kraig then served with the Legislative Service Commission in Columbus, Ohio, for two years before returning to St Marys to join the firm. He has been the elected Law Director for the City of St. Marys since 1980. He, too, serves in many community and governmental capacities. He has served on the Board of Governors and the Council of Delegates of the Ohio State Bar Association.

Kraig continues his father's interest in trusts and estate planning as well as commercial and real estate matters. 

Jeffrey P. Squire

Jeff was born in Elyria, Ohio, on July 21, 1968. Following his receipt of degrees in economics and mathematics from Northwestern University, he earned his JD from The Ohio State University.

Jeff has been the Chair of the Ohio State Bar Association New Lawyers Section, and remains active in state and local bar activities. Jeff is an accomplished musician and plays in several area orchestras and bands.

Jeff specializes in real estate and domestic/family law.

Zach G. Ferrall

Zach was born in Dayton, Ohio, on July 20, 1987 and is a lifelong resident of St. Marys. Zach was a 2005 graduate of St. Marys Memorial. After he obtained a criminal justice degree from Wright State University, Zach received a criminal justice master's degree from the University of Cincinnati, and finally his JD from the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law. Zach also serves as St. Marys City Assistant Law Director and has taught as an adjunct professor at Wright State University – Lake Campus.

Zach is a member of both the Ohio and Auglaize Bar Association, in his free time Zach serves on the board of trustees for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Auglaize, Mercer, and Van Wert Counties, is active in the St. Marys Rotary Club and volunteers for various St. Marys community and educational activities.

John F. Moul - Retired

John was born in Columbus, Ohio, on July 22, 1944, and was raised in Westfield Center, Ohio. He received his BA from Miami University and his JD from The Ohio State University. Before moving to St Marys, John served as an officer in the Judge Advocate General's Corps where he was a certified Military Judge.

John has served as an Assistant County Prosecutor since 1986 and is also the Assistant Law Director for the City of St. Marys. He has served in many civic offices, as well as the local and state bar associations. John practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, bankruptcy and probate law.

In Memoriam

Edward S. Noble (1918-2015)

Ed was born in St. Marys, Ohio, April 15, 1918. Following his service as an officer in WWII, Ed founded the firm and was a community leader since its inception. Ed received his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, and received his law degree from the University of Michigan.

Since 1966, Ed was a Trustee of the Western Ohio Educational Foundation, and also had a long history of serving both the Ohio State and the Auglaize County Bar Associations. Throughout his career, Ed was a leader in estate planning and trusts, and continued to practice in those areas. His son, Kraig, carries on this tradition within the firm.

Eldon E. Montague (1921-2018)

Eldon (Monty) was a native of St. Marys, where he was born on March 20, 1921. Following his service as a Marine officer in the South Pacific in WWII, he returned home and ultimately joined Ed Noble in the practice of law. Monty held degrees from Wittenberg University and The Ohio State University.

Monty was an active and independent voice in the community where he had served on numerous boards. He was also the moving force behind the establishment of the local Big Brothers-Big Sisters organization. His service to the state and local bar have been recognized as well. Monty was known for his focus in all of his efforts practicing probate law.
